Surah At-Tur, Verse 42

أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ
Word by word
أَمْ am Or يُرِيدُونَ yurīdūna (do) they intend كَيْدًۭا ۖ kaydan a plot فَٱلَّذِينَ fa-alladhīna But those who كَفَرُوا۟ kafarū disbelieve هُمُ humu themselves ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ l-makīdūna (are in) the plot
Transliteration
Am yureedoona kaydan fallatheenakafaroo humu almakeedoon
Translations

Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared!
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot!
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( أم يريدون كيدا فالذين كفروا هم المكيدون ) يقول تعالى : أم يريد هؤلاء بقولهم هذا في الرسول وفي الدين غرور الناس وكيد الرسول وأصحابه ، فكيدهم إنما يرجع وباله على أنفسهم ، فالذين كفروا هم المكيدون ،
