Quran 54:12
Surah Al-Qamar, Verse 12

وَفَجَّرْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَٱلْتَقَى ٱلْمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ
Word by word
وَفَجَّرْنَا wafajjarnā And We caused to burst ٱلْأَرْضَ l-arḍa the earth عُيُونًۭا ʿuyūnan (with) springs فَٱلْتَقَى fal-taqā so met ٱلْمَآءُ l-māu the water(s) عَلَىٰٓ ʿalā for أَمْرٍۢ amrin a matter قَدْ qad already قُدِرَ qudira predestined
Transliteration
Wafajjarna al-arda AAuyoonanfaltaqa almao AAala amrin qad qudir
Translations

And caused the earth to gush forth springs, so that the waters met for a predestined purpose.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed.
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
أي نبعت جميع أرجاء الأرض حتى التنانير التي هي محال النيران نبعت عيونا "فالتقى الماء" أي من السماء والأرض "على أمر قد قدر" أى أمر مقدر.
