Quran 78:35
Surah An-Naba, Verse 35

لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا كِذَّٰبًا

لَّا lā Not يَسْمَعُونَ yasmaʿūna they will hear فِيهَا fīhā therein لَغْوًۭا laghwan any vain talk وَلَا walā and not كِذَّٰبًۭا kidhāban any falsehood
Transliteration
La yasmaAAoona feeha laghwanwala kiththaba
Translations

There hear they never vain discourse, nor lying -
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
No vanity shall they hear therein, nor Untruth:-
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
وقوله : ( لا يسمعون فيها لغوا ولا كذابا ) كقوله : ( لا لغو فيها ولا تأثيم ) [ الطور : 23 ] أي : ليس فيها كلام لاغ عار عن الفائدة ، ولا إثم كذب ، بل هي دار السلام ، وكل ما فيها سالم من النقص .
