Quran 8:14
Surah Al-Anfaal, Verse 14

ذَٰلِكُمْ فَذُوقُوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ
Word by word
ذَٰلِكُمْ dhālikum That فَذُوقُوهُ fadhūqūhu So taste it وَأَنَّ wa-anna And that لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ lil'kāfirīna for the disbelievers عَذَابَ ʿadhāba (is the) punishment ٱلنَّارِ l-nāri (of) the Fire
Transliteration
Thalikum fathooqoohu waannalilkafireena AAathaba annar
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
That (is the award), so taste it, and (know) that for disbelievers is the torment of the Fire.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
Thus (will it be said): "Taste ye then of the (punishment): for those who resist Allah, is the penalty of the Fire."
تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir
( ذلكم فذوقوه وأن للكافرين عذاب النار ) هذا خطاب للكفار أي : ذوقوا هذا العذاب والنكال في الدنيا ، واعلموا أيضا أن للكافرين عذاب النار في الآخرة .
