Quran 85:11

Surah Al-Burooj, Verse 11

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ

Word by word

إِنَّ inna Indeed ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who ءَامَنُوا۟ āmanū believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ waʿamilū and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ l-ṣāliḥāti the righteous deeds لَهُمْ lahum for them جَنَّـٰتٌۭ jannātun (will be) Gardens تَجْرِى tajrī flow مِن min from تَحْتِهَا taḥtihā underneath it ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚ l-anhāru the rivers ذَٰلِكَ dhālika That ٱلْفَوْزُ l-fawzu (is) the success ٱلْكَبِيرُ l-kabīru the great

Transliteration

Inna allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati lahum jannatuntajree min tahtiha al-anharu thalikaalfawzu alkabeer

Translations

Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall

Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success.

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

For those who believe and do righteous deeds, will be Gardens; beneath which rivers flow: That is the great Salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires),

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

يخبر تعالى عن عباده المؤمنين أن لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها بخلاف ما أعـد لأعدائه من الحريق والجحيم ولهذا قال "ذلك الفوز الكبير".
