Surah Al-Burooj, Verse 7

وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ
Word by word
وَهُمْ wahum And they عَلَىٰ ʿalā over مَا mā what يَفْعَلُونَ yafʿalūna they were doing بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ bil-mu'minīna to the believers شُهُودٌۭ shuhūdun witnesses
Transliteration
Wahum AAala ma yafAAaloona bilmu/mineenashuhood
Translations
Pickthall — Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall
And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers.
Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali
And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers.
