Quran 95:5

Surah At-Tin, Verse 5

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ

Word by word

ثُمَّ thumma Then رَدَدْنَـٰهُ radadnāhu We returned him أَسْفَلَ asfala (to the) lowest سَـٰفِلِينَ sāfilīna (of the) low

Transliteration

Thumma radadnahu asfala safileen

Translations

Then we reduced him to the lowest of the low,

Yusuf Ali — Abdullah Yusuf Ali

Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,-

تفسير ابن كثير — Ismail ibn Kathir

( ثم رددناه أسفل سافلين ) أي : إلى النار . قاله مجاهد وأبو العالية والحسن وابن زيد ، وغيرهم . ثم بعد هذا الحسن والنضارة مصيره إلى النار إن لم يطع الله ويتبع الرسل ; ولهذا قال :
